Graphic Packaging International, Prosperity Extrusion Facility is currently seeking a Warehouse Operator for our Prosperity, SC facility located in Newberry County.
Warehouse operators will support the extrusion facility while operating various types of Hyster mechanical equipment which includes forklift and clamp trucks, yard dog, a railcar mover, and other various types of powered vehicle equipment. Operators will be l oading and unloading the production line with rolls of basestock, loading finished goods and unloading raw material from trailers and railcars, and moving railcars are some of the functions of the warehouse operator.
POWERED INDUSTRIAL TRUCK EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
A stable work history is a must, with a minimum of 2 years at your current employer or a previous employer with powered industrial truck experience.
Shipping and receiving is open Monday @ 7am until Friday at 4pm. We are hiring for both day and night shift. Candidate(s) must be able to work either day shift or night shift (we do not rotate). There is the opportunity for additional overtime, which would depend upon business demands.
Facility production currently operates 4 days a week, Monday – Thursday, 24 hours a day. Facility operates with 2 shifts and the hours are from 6:45 to 7.
There is a potential for a schedule change in the future. We would transition from 12 hour shifts to a Monday through Friday schedule working 3 traditional 8 hour shifts from 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am.

Required Skills
Must be at least 18 years old.
Mechanical/Technical aptitude
Excellent Computer skills
Ability to communicate well verbally.
You will be required to wear steel toes shoes, hair and/or beard nets, safety glasses and earplugs at a minimum.
A background check, drug screen and a pre-employment physical is required for hiring.
Starting pay is $18.50 per hour with a $1.50 per hour shift differential for night shift with potential wage progression up to $26.50.
