As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be responsiblefor key accounting processes, financial analysis, and creation of knowledge tools to deliver world class financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Finance or Accounting role with 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment. This position provides an opportunity to drive superior business results within one of the largest packaging facilities at Graphic Packaging International.

Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete the accounting and monthly close process for assigned functions and activities including Balance Sheet reviews and P&L statement.

  • Review and prepare account re-class entries, inventory validation, account reconciliations and intercompany transactions.

  • Develop improvements for existing accounting and month end close processes.

  • Prepare and/or review the financial analyses of monthly financial and operational results.

  • Work directly with the Plant Controller to determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs.

  • Work closely with the Plant Controller to develop monthly financial outlook and annual plan.

  • Ensure application of established financial controls within area of responsibility by effective implementation and maintenance of financial policies/processes and instructions.

  • Provides information that assists with the preparation of presentations to the plant and business leadership team.

  • Proactively assist company’s external auditors and internal auditors, as needed, to ensure an efficient and effective audit process.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced Accounting degree/certification is a plus

  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in a Finance or Accounting role

  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools

  • ERP systems experience required; SAP preferred

Pay Range: $69,540.00 - $92,720.00
