The Foodservice Sales team is searching for an experienced team member to join the HAVI account as a Sales Development Advisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales support and project management and possess exceptional organizational agility and communication skills.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of HAVI-TMS / McDonald’s projects by working with cross functional teams (engineering, supply chain, planning, operations, finance, and sales) to ensure on time completion. Scope includes feasibility studies such as promotional capabilities, material exploration, manufacturing abilities, concept development, plant trials and qualifications, capital investment justifications, specification development, and product launches.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects; develop strong relationships with internal and external resources up to executive level to drive projects to completion.

  • Create clarity for internal stakeholders on client led initiatives; be an active participant in project input and deliverables.

  • Develop comprehensive plans and schedules that align with objectives and launch plans.

  • Manage project resources, risks, issues, and changes to achieve goals.

  • Monitor project progress and performance; provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

  • Provide technical leadership for overall foodservice paperboard packaging and client specific categories.

  • Maintain a good working knowledge of technologies used in the food packaging industry.

  • Foster client relationships while assisting the commercial sales team with achieving targets and delivering results.

  • Work cross functionally across stakeholder groups (i.e., R&D, operations, customer service) to meet customer requirements, execute key projects to support Havi/McDonald’s

  • Provide strategic analysis of data (ie sales trends, forecast data, usage rates, etc)

Project Planning and Execution

  • Define feasibility and project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Develop detailed plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate with both external and internal resources for flawless execution of projects.

  • Monitor and report on progress to the team as well as the client.

Risk Management

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all project and feasibilities reviews are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify successful / unsuccessful project elements.

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients for assigned projects and feasibilities.

  • Communicate status, updates, and any issues to clients in a timely manner.

Category Management

  • Analyze product specific trends to assist with short and long term commercial strategy

  • Utilize working knowledge of product base and manufacturing platforms to support client requests and commercial inquires.

  • Provide technical support to the commercial team and the client based on working knowledge of foodservice packaging

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, management, packaging, or related field. PMP or relevant certification is a plus.

  • Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in project management, account management, or a related role.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of products/capabilities to customers through meetings and presentations.

  • Proven track record of success working in a team environment.

  • Technical knowledge and operational experience in the folding carton or consumer products (packaging) industry, or equivalent combination or experience and education is desired.

  • Ability to persuade, negotiate and sell. Account management as well as Foodservice experience preferred but not required.

Work Environment

  • This role typically operates in a home office environment with occasional travel.

  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours may be required to meet project deadlines.

Pay Range: $107,200.00 - $142,900.00
